I used to fear the camera (especially the post-partum version of me) until I met you. You have been an absolute Godsend to me. I have always been one to hide from the camera because I don’t always feel confident or photogenic. You frame me so well that I feel genuinely good about myself. Like most moms, I’m so fearful I won’t remember these moments or have good pictures to look back on. And you just nail it. Every. Single. Time. Not only do you make me feel good about myself, you are great with my son! You capture his personality just the way I'd hoped. You bring my ideas my ideas to life. You are a creative magician!I know I will treasure these captured moments for years to come and want to thank you for making me comfortable enough with myself to actually want to be back in front of the camera!
 

Amanda is absolutely amazing! she has done our pictures for the last couple of years and she’s the only one i trust to do an amazing job. She captures all of the special moments a mom is looking for, especially having 3 boys she has to cooperate with and yet she is so patient and does so well with the boys. i highly recommend her to anyone and everyone, and my family and i will continue to have amanda do our pictures as our family grows.

Amanda’s work is simply stunning and her fun personality makes the sessions enjoyable. Before a session even begins, Amanda makes you feel at ease. She is friendly and down-to-earth and is able to get a genuine smile out of everyone. She is so patient and even got both of our dogs to “smile” for multiple photos! Amanda is willing to lay on the ground, wade in a creek, or stand on a step-ladder — anything to get an incredible shot!
We have done three sessions with her (family, maternity, newborn) and plan to book her for each fun milestone/season in the future.

Amanda is an incredible photographer to work with. Not only does she take gorgeous photos, but she is wonderful with providing direction and posing that is flattering for everyone in the picture. She is friendly, has a great sense of humor and is just an all around amazing human. Before my first shoot with Amanda I was extremely nervous as I hadn't ever taken professional photos before and I was 6 months pregnant. Amanda made me feel comfortable and confident while taking the photos and the result of that has given me the most beautiful memories I could have during my pregnancy. She also came to do an in-home shoot with my newborn son and made it an extremely easy process. She was relaxed, let us act organically with our son and captured some amazing moments. Amanda does amazing work! Our first session we started out as strangers but she makes you feel so comfortable and is so relaxed that I felt like I had known her for years. She is fantastic! 

The Doty Magic, we have always talked about it and it’s because Amanda has “the magic.” Not only are her photos absolutely amazing, she makes you feel amazing. She accommodating, easy going, and love the animals just as much as the babies. She responds to every question via email or text as soon as she can, which I have found can be hard from other photographers that we have previously used. She has a quick turn around time and always keep me a checking my phone for those sneak peaks!We love you and can’t wait for our next pictures.
 

I really enjoyed working with Amanda! Not only were her pictures on point in quality, but also her creativity and landscape choice! We brought our dogs and 9 year old and she juggled their stubbornness with ease. Pictures were returned in a timely manner and the experience overall was fantastic!
